A- SPECIFICATIONS OF GLASS BEAD1- Description and Scope : Glass Beads are described as casted
materials which are applied on the surface of ways after paints,
thermoplastics, cold application plastics and liquids that are applied on other
operation products .These materials are the transparent globule glass
beads which reflect the automobile headlight back to driver so that it
provides the night visibility on the way. The Material is conformable
with the standarts that is described for glass globule (bead) on TS EN
1423/ April 2003 standarts .
2- Apperance : Glass Globules should be transparent , clean, uncolored
and globular . They should have smooth surfaces and they should not
have any crack or broken glass globules. Any other material should not be
added into glass globule.Grain Size Dispersion : Glass Globules Grain Size Dispersion should be
determined via ISO 565-R 40/3 series metal wire web , circular shaped,
square eyed sieves test as it is specified on TS EN 1423/ April 2003
standart. The percentage % of glass globules that are stayed on
cumulative sieve , should be comformable with the below gradation.ISO 565 R 40/3 sieves, ? nhibited Cumulative Mass

determined according to TS EN 1423/ April 2003 standart appendix A, It should
be best fit to below grades:Class A : n > 1.5
Class B: n > 1.7
Class C: n > 1.94-Chemical Endurance : Glass Globules should be enduring to :Water
Hydrochloric acid,
Calsium Chloride,
Sodium SulfureIf the endurance tests are determined according to TS EN 1423/April
2003 standart appendix B, glass globules should not be damped or dulled
when they contact with hydrochloric acid, calsium chloride and sodium
chloride.
5- DampProof Coverings : When a test is done according to TS EN
1423/April 2003 standart appendix E operation A, to determine if glass
globules have dampproof covering ; %80 percent of glass globules must
